During the middle ages the life in the country became organized by religion. The names of saints and their days reminded people when it is time to prepare the fields, plant seeds and when to begin harvest. For hundreds of years, the implanted Christian religion mixed in a subtle way with the ancient wisdom, culture and beliefs of the Czech nation. The heaven in the country is familiarly close. All the saints easily ride their dapples, white, or raven-black horses through beautiful, aromatic, gently rolling land. The order created by religious institutions centuries ago somewhat ensures that nothing can happen, everything has its measures, laws and rules, and there is nothing to fear. After January comes February and after winter must come spring and summer. After life a death and after death a birth.
